Type S magnetic contactors and starters are for motor control applications and 8903S lighting contactors are for lighting control applications. This power pole adder is mounted on the side of a contactor or starter. It is often used to add an additional power pole to a two or three pole contactor. This power pole adder is designed to work on Type S NEMA Size 0 or 1, 2 or 3 pole contactors or starters. It is also designed to work on a 8903SM 30A 2 or 3 pole lighting contactors. This power pole adder has one normally open contact. Power pole has the same contact ratings as the contactor or starter that it is designed for. Each 2 pole or 3 pole contactor or starter with accept one single pole or one double pole power pole. Contact modules are UL component recognized and CSA certified.
