Typical applications include air compressors, agricultural equipment, pumps, and HVAC equipment. This two pole definite purpose starter has a full load rating of 40 amperes. This starter has ratings of 3 HP at 115 VAC and 7.5 HP at 230 VAC single phase. The nonreplaceable coil is available with a variety of coil voltages. This device has a 208/240 VAC 60 Hz 220 VAC 50 Hz coil. The starter has straight through wiring. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. This starter doesn’t have an enclosure. Enclosures are available. Starter is 7.0 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 4.0 inches deep.
