This product is part of the Nema Limit Switches range, an offer of limit switches. The limit switch is a device that converts a mechanical motion into an electrical control signal. It has 1 normally closed + 1 normally opened, DPDT-DB (double pole double throw, double break) form Zb, snap action contacts without positive opening operation. It is a limit switch with a conventional enclosed thermal current of 20A. It is furnished with screw clamp terminals for electrical connection. The spring return mechanism without operating lever supports lateral approach and switch actuation in CCW position, from right. It is an IP67 and NEMA 1/2/4/12/13 rated product. This rotary head limit switch has a fixed type body which is made of cast aluminium with corrosion resistant grey painted finish. Its dimensions are 2.25inch (Width) x 2.03inch (Depth) x 4.95inch (Height) and weighs 1.5lb. This limit switch is suitable for material working, packaging, materials handling, conveying, food and beverage, oil, gas, crane, hoisting, mill, foundry, mining and mineral construction. The foundry switch for used in foundries or mills where the applications described above are required and where falling foundry sand or similar material could build up and jam the operating mechanism. The shaft has a dust boot and extends from the switch case, preventing sand build up around the shaft. The device can withstand hot falling sand up to 300°F (149°C).
