The XS range is an offer of inductive proximity sensors for the detection, without physical contact, of metal objects. The advantages of inductive detection are numerous, no physical contact with the object to be detected. Thus avoiding wear and enabling detection of fragile or freshly painted objects. This sensor is suitable for position, displacement and deformation control/monitoring applications. This product is a cylindrical sensor, flush mountable in metal. Diameter 8mm, threaded M8 x 1. It features a stainless steel case and a 2m long PvR cable. It has a sensing distance of 1.5mm. Two-wire, DC supply, 7V to 12V, NC function, Namur discrete output. This inductive proximity sensor complies with the 94/9/EC ATEX directives. It also complies with the INERIS 04ATEX0016X certification.
