PowerPacT L-Frame motor circuit protectors (MCP) are instantaneous-trip circuit breakers designed to offer short circuit protection for motors. PowerPacT L-Frame motor circuit protectors are available with electronic trip units. The unique design of the PowerPacT MCPs accommodates transient motor inrush current without nuisance tripping. These motor protectors accept the same accessories and terminals as the equivalent PowerPacT L circuit breaker. PowerPacT L protectors are available in 3 pole unit mount, I-Line, and plug in constructions. This PowerPacT L, 600A, 3 pole, MCP has an interrupting rating of 25kA at 600VAC. This protector provides MicroLogic with a 2.3M trip unit. This unit has lugs on both the line and load sides. This motor circuit protector has a continuous current rating of 80%. PowerPacT L motor circuit protectors comply to UL, CSA, and IEC standards.
