Typical applications include air compressors, agricultural equipment, pumps, and HVAC equipment. This two pole definite purpose starter has a full load rating of 40 amperes. This starter has ratings of 3 HP at 115 VAC and 7.5 HP at 230 VAC single phase. The nonreplaceable coil is available with a variety of coil voltages. This device has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. The starter has straight through wiring. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. A painted sheet steel NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure is used to protect this definite purpose starter. Enclosure is 10.00 inches tall, 6.00 inches wide and 5.56 inches deep.
