This XS inductive proximity sensor provides an economical solution for detecting slip, belt breakage, drive shaft shear and overloading. The oscillator produces an alternating electromagnetic field that exits the detection area of the sensor. Any metallic object penetrating this field is then detected. This threaded cylindrical (M30) inductive proximity sensor is designed for rotation monitoring. It is made of metal and it is flush mountable. Its nominal sensing distance is 10mm, it supports 1 normally closed 2-wire discrete output and it has an adjustable switching frequency of 6 to 150 impulses/min. It works in a temperature range of -40°C and +70°C, it is dustproof and waterproof (IP67). It is made of metal. It measures 81mm (length) x 30mm (diameter) and weighs 0.3kg. This inductive proximity sensor is designed to be used for rotation monitoring. This sensor is certified UL, CSA, and CCC.
