Profibus DP V1 remote master – for Premium/Quantum/M340/M580 PLC

This product is part of the Profibus DP range, an offer of remote master modules. The Profibus Remote Master (PRM) module is connected to the Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP network via its integrated 2-port switch, as close as possible to the process and the instrumentation. It has Profibus 2 twisted shielded pairs cable and Modbus TCP category 5 shielded twisted pair (STP) transmission support medium. It is equipped with 2 Ethernet TCP/IP-RJ45 for Modbus TCP, Profibus DP SUB-D 9 for Profibus DP V1 connections. Communication services are check slave configuration (on power up) class 1 master, manage monitoring request (Global CONTROL and Get Master Diag) class 2 master, no master/master dialogue class 2 master etc. It weighs 0.62kg. This product can be used to connect Modicon Quantum, Premium, M580, and M340 Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to Profibus DP V1 via the I/O scanner function. The kit includes CD including the communication DTM and CD including the master DTM for configuration inside UNITY.
