Typical applications include air compressors, agricultural equipment, pumps, and HVAC equipment. This three pole definite purpose starter has a full load rating of 20 amperes. This starter has ratings of 1.5 HP at 115 VAC and 3 HP at 230 VAC single phase. It has a 7.5 HP at 230 VAC, 460 VAC and 575 VAC three phase. The nonreplaceable coil is available with a variety of coil voltages. This device has a 220/208 to 240 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. The starter has straight through wiring. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. This definite purpose contactor is an open device without an enclosure. Enclosure is 6.73 inches tall, 3.50 inches wide and 4.09 inches deep. Auxiliary contacts are available for these starters. 8911DPS definite purpose starters are UL component recognized.
