NEMA Contactor, Type S, nonreversing, Size 5, 270A, 200 HP at 575 VAC, 3 phase, up to 100 kA, 3 pole, 120V coil, NEMA 12

Type S non-reversing magnetic contactors are used to switch heating loads, capacitors, transformers, and electric motors where overload protection is provided separately. Type S contactors have ratings up to 810 amperes. This 3 pole NEMA Size 5 non-reversing contactor has a 270 ampere rating. Three phase NEMA Size 5 contactors have 75 HP at 200, 100 HP at 230 VAC and 200 HP at 460 and 575 VAC ratings. This NEMA contactor has a 100 kA maximum SCCR rating per UL508A when protected by an appropriate circuit breaker or fuse. These contactors are available with replaceable coils in a wide variety of voltages. This contactor has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz coil that is wired for common control. This NEMA contactor is in a NEMA 3R rainproof NEMA 12 dusttight enclosure. This enclosure is 47.00 inches tall, 17.22 inches wide and 13.44 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S contactors. This contactor is supplied with fused transformer. Transformer has a 240 VAC primary and a 120 VAC secondary. This contactor is also supplied with a red pilot light. Type S NEMA contactors are UL listed and CSA certified.
