This XPSATE safety module monitors emergency shutdown pushbuttons and limit switches. It meets the requirements of PL e/Category 4 (instantaneous safety outputs), PL d/Category 3 (time delayed safety outputs) conforming to EN/ISO 13849-1. It meets also the requirements of SILCL3 (instantaneous safety outputs) and SILCL2 (time delayed safety outputs) conforming to EN/IEC 61508 and EN/IEC 62061. It can be used for monitoring Emergency stop circuits conforming to EN/ISO 13850 and EN/IEC 60204-1 standards, and electrical monitoring of switches in protection devices conforming to EN/ISO 14119 standard. 24V AC/DC supply allows direct supply via an auxiliary transformer, like ABT7 or ABL6, allowing saving at installation time. It has removable terminals for easier and better control wires tightening, thus improving installation reliability. It has additional solid-state output for communication with PLCs about safety status of your process.
