This product is part of the XS range, an offer of inductive proximity sensors. This inductive proximity sensor detects the presence of nearby objects without any physical contact. This general purpose inductive proximity sensor in XS2 cylindrical M18 design. It is flush mountable and has a frontal detection face. It supports 8mm nominal sensing distance and 1 normally open discrete output. It is furnished with 2m 2-wire cable for electrical connection and 1 LED for output state and supply ON. It is an inductive proximity sensor with a rated supply voltage of 24V to 210V DC, 24V to 240V AC at 50/60Hz and a switching frequency of ≤2000Hz DC, ≤25Hz AC. It is an IP68 rated product. The enclosure is made of nickel plated brass. Its dimensions are 60mm (length) x 18mm (height) and weighs 0.12kg. Its range of applications are very extensive and includes monitoring the position of machine parts (cams, end stops, etc.) and counting the number of metal objects, etc. It is suitable for railway, mobile equipment, lifts and escalators. This product is certified by UL, CSA, CE and CCC.
