8965 reversing hoist contactors are designed for control of hoists, overhead doors, small elevators and commercial laundry equipment. They are rated to perform in the short periods of jogging experienced in hoist service. This 3 pole contactor has ratings of 1 HP at 115 VAC and 2 HP at 230 VAC single phase. Has ratings of 5 HP at 230 HP and 7.5 HP at 460 VAC and 575 VAC poly phase. These contactors must be mounted upright on the vertical plane. The contactors will not operate properly when mounted in any other position. The replaceable coil is available with a variety of coil voltages. This device has a 24 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. The power terminals have quick connect terminals. This device is without jumper straps. This reversing contactor doesn’t have an enclosure. Reversing contactor is 3.31 inches tall, 3.31 inches wide and 3.03 inches deep. Auxiliary contacts are available for these contactors. 8965DPR reversing hoist contactors are UL component recognized and CSA certified.
