Type S non-reversing MCP combination starters are for motor control applications. Combination starters combine the requirements for motor overload and short circuit protection into one package. NEMA Size 0 starters have ratings of 0.25 to 3 HP at 200 and 230 VAC and 0.25 to 5 HP at 460 and 575 VAC poly phase. Combination starter has an electronic motor circuit protector (MCP). This 3 pole starter is for poly phase applications. Combination starters are available with a wide variety of replaceable coil voltages. Starter has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz operating coil. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. A painted sheet steel NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure is used to protect this combination starter. Enclosure is 22.50 inches tall, 9.50 inches wide and 9.84 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. This combination starter has a 480VAC to 120 VAC control transformer. This combination starter also has a Hand Off Auto selector switch, a red pilot light and one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact. Type S combination starters are UL listed and CSA certified.
