Barrier kit, safety switch, 30A at 240/600VAC

Schneider Electric’s Square D heavy duty safety switch is designed to be tough, reliable and provide exceptional performance in the most grueling conditions. All heavy duty safety switches feature a quick-make, quick-break operating mechanism, a dual cover interlock, and a color-coded indicator handle. They also come with many field installable or factory installed accessories. This internal barrier kit is field installed only. It provides IEC529 IP2X “finger safe” protection when door of enclosed disconnect switch is open. The barrier is transparent, which allows visual inspection of the switch. A door in the barrier allows use of test probes and replacement of fuses without removing the barrier. The barrier kit is UL component recognized.
