This encoder interface card can be used for Flux Vector Control operation with sensor for asynchronous motors. It can also be used for Vector Control operation with speed feedback for synchronous motors. It improves drive performance irrespective of the motor load state. It is compatible with RS 422 differential outputs encoder technology. This card is simple to install and remove, it is inserted in a dedicated slot of the variable speed drive. It is protected against encoder supply short circuits and overloads. It is compatible with Altivar 71.
