Type S nonreversing fusible combination starters are for motor control applications. Combination starters combine the requirements for motor overload and short circuit protection into one package. NEMA Size 1 starters have ratings of up to 7.5 HP at 220 and 240 VAC three phase. This fusible combination starter has 60 ampere Class H fuse clips. This 3 pole starter is for three phase applications. Combination starters are available with a wide variety of replaceable coil voltages. Starter has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz operating coil wired for separate control.  This nonreversing NEMA combination starter has a melting alloy type overload relay which uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. A painted sheet steel NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure is used to protect this starter. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. Type S combination starters are UL listed and CSA certified.
