The more copper for current carrying paths, the lower the temperature rise. Managing temperatures inside the switch is the key to providing greater service life. This heavy duty Single Throw Safety Switch has a rated current of 400A and has a NEMA 3R degree of protection and made of stainles steel. This non-fusible disconnect has a short circuit rating of 200kA@600VAC and has a neutral (factory installed). This surface mounted safety switch has 4 wire configuration and is rated for 750 kcmil to 1/0 AWG copper or aluminium or 2 of 300 kcmil to 1/0 AWG aluminum or copper wire This product os compatable with H or K, R, J or L fuses.
