NEMA Motor Starter, Type S, nonreversing, Size 0, 18A, 2 HP at 230 VAC, 1 phase, 2 pole, melting alloy, 120 VAC coil, NEMA 7/9

Type S NEMA motor starters are used for full voltage starting and stopping of AC squirrel cage motors. Type S motor starters have ratings up to 810 amperes. This 2 pole NEMA Size 0 non-reversing starter has an 18 ampere rating. This NEMA Size 0 motor starter has single phase ratings of 1 HP at 115 VAC and 2 HP at 230 VAC. This non-reversing NEMA motor starter has a melting alloy type overload relay that uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. Type S motor starters are available with replaceable coils in a wide variety of voltages. This starter has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz operating coil wired for common control. A bolted cast iron NEMA 7 and 9 hazardous location, Division 1 & 2, Class 1, Groups C & D and Class II, Groups E, F, & G enclosure is used to protect this starter. Enclosure is 13.25 inches tall, 11.00 inches wide and 7.00 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. This starter is supplied with START STOP momentary push buttons and a red pilot light. Type S non-reversing NEMA motor starters are UL listed and CSA certified.
