8501X NEMA machine tool relays combine a rugged heavy duty design with modular construction for greater flexibility. They are ideal for applications where long life, high reliability and ease of maintenance are important. This DC utility relay is Ideal for utility plant applications where reliable performance and a pure DC power plant are required. This relay has contacts with a 10 ampere resistive current rating at 600 VAC. The contacts also have an A600 inductive contact rating. DC utility relays are available with up to 12 NO or NC poles. This relay is supplied with four 8501XC1 contact cartridges. The contact cartridges are installed as normally open contacts. The machine tool relays have straight through wiring. This makes wiring easier. The four plug in contact cartridges in this relay make contact conversion or replacement very easy. Contact conversion or replacement can be done without removing any wiring. Contacts are supplied with pan head screws so ring tongue terminals can be used. 18 to 12 AWG copper wire can be used with this relay. This relay has a 125 VDC replaceable coil. This 125VDC coil is capable of handling 140VDC continuously and picking up at 105VDC after having been operated at 140VDC continuously. Relay is UL listed and CSA certified.
