NEMA Contactor, Type S, nonreversing, Size 5, 270A, 200HP at 575VAC, 3 phase, up to 100kA, 3 pole, 120VAC coil, NEMA 1

Type S non-reversing magnetic contactors are used to switch heating loads, capacitors, transformers, and electric motors where overload protection is provided separately. Type S contactors have ratings up to 810 amperes. This 3 pole NEMA Size 5 non-reversing contactor has a 270 ampere rating. Three phase NEMA Size 5 contactors have 75 HP at 200, 100 HP at 230 VAC and 200 HP at 460 and 575 VAC ratings. This NEMA contactor has a 100 kA maximum SCCR rating per UL508A when protected by an appropriate circuit breaker or fuse. These contactors are available with replaceable coils in a wide variety of voltages. This contactor has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz coil that is wired for separate control. This NEMA contactor is in a NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure. This enclosure is 44.22 inches tall, 17.22 inches wide and 12.81 inches deep.
