Type S non-reversing magnetic contactors are used to switch heating loads, capacitors, transformers, and electric motors where overload protection is provided separately. Type S contactors have ratings up to 810 amperes. This 3 pole NEMA Size 5 non-reversing contactor has a 270 ampere rating. Three phase NEMA Size 5 contactors have 75 HP at 200, 100 HP at 230 VAC and 200 HP at 460 and 575 VAC ratings. This NEMA contactor has a 100 kA maximum SCCR rating per UL508A when protected by an appropriate circuit breaker or fuse. These contactors are available with replaceable coils in a wide variety of voltages. This contactor has a 277 VAC 60 Hz coil that is wired for common control. This NEMA contactor is an open device without an enclosure. This contactor is 12.31 inches tall, 8.67 inches wide and 8.75 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S contactors. Type S NEMA contactors are UL listed and CSA certified.
