Type S non-reversing magnetic contactors are used to switch heating loads, capacitors, transformers, and electric motors where overload protection is provided separately. Type S contactors have ratings up to 810 amperes. This 2 pole NEMA Size 2 non-reversing contactor has a 45 ampere rating. Single phase NEMA Size 2 contactors have 3 HP at 115 VAC and 7.5 HP at 230 VAC ratings. This NEMA contactor has a 100 kA maximum SCCR rating per UL508A when protected by an appropriate circuit breaker or fuse. These contactors are available with replaceable coils in a wide variety of voltages. This contactor has a 24 VAC 60 Hz coil that is wired for common control. This NEMA contactor is in a NEMA 3R rainproof NEMA 12 dusttight enclosure. This enclosure is 15.98 inches tall, 8.15 inches wide and 9.29 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S contactors. Type S NEMA contactors are UL listed and CSA certified.
