NEMA Contactor, Type S, nonreversing, Size 2, 45A, 7.5 HP at 230 VAC, 1 phase, up to 100 kA, 2 pole, 240 V coil, NEMA 4X

Type S non-reversing magnetic contactors are used to switch heating loads, capacitors, transformers, and electric motors where overload protection is provided separately. Type S contactors have ratings up to 810 amperes. This 2 pole NEMA Size 2 non-reversing contactor has a 45 ampere rating. Single phase NEMA Size 2 contactors have 3 HP at 115 VAC and 7.5 HP at 230 VAC ratings. This NEMA contactor has a 100 kA maximum SCCR rating per UL508A when protected by an appropriate circuit breaker or fuse. These contactors are available with replaceable coils in a wide variety of voltages. This contactor has a 220/240 VAC 50/60 Hz coil that is wired for common control. This NEMA contactor is in a NEMA 4 & 4X brushed stainless steel watertight and dusttight enclosure. This enclosure is 16.19 inches tall, 8.13 inches wide and 7.88 inches deep.
