Manual Starter, fractional horsepower, 16A, 2 poles, 1 HP at 277 VAC, toggle w/guard, no indicator, NEMA 1 enclosure

Type F fractional horsepower starters provide overload protection as well as manual On-Off control for small motors in a variety of industrial and commercial installations. Typical applications include fans, conveyors, pumps, and small machine tools. Both one pole and two pole versions are suitable for use with AC single phase motors rated up to 2 hp. Two-pole starters can also be used with DC motors rated up to 0.75 hp. These nonreversing fractional horsepower starters are toggle operated. The maximum operational voltage is 277 VAC and 230 VDC. This two pole nonreversing fractional horsepower starters is rated for 1 HP at 115VAC, 2 HP at 230VAC, 1 HP at 277 VAC single phase and 0.75 HP at 115 VDC and 0.75 HP at 230 VDC and 16A continuous. The screw clamp terminals will accept 14 to 12 AWG copper wire. This switch has no pilot light indicator. This device has a NEMA 1 enclosure. The enclosure has has a 0.5 and 0.75 knockout on the top and bottom. Enclosure is 4.25 inches tall, 2.44 inches wide and 2.88 inches deep. This device is UL Listed and CSA certified.
