Hyde Park, Ultrasonic sensor, discrete, 18 mm barrel, 12 24 V DC

This SM600 Series SUPERPROX® Ultrasonic Proximity Sensor is part of the Hyde Park Ultrasonic Sensors product range. The SM600 applications include sensing metal parts as close as 1in (25mm), cap presence and tilt detection, fill level checking, fill tube presence monitoring, downed container and container edge detection, and case inspection. The sensor is a self contained, pulse-echo device that both transmits and receives sonic energy over a 6in (152mm) sensing range with fixed sensing window from 1in (25mm) to 6in (152mm). The response time is 5ms. The sensor accepts 12VDC to 24VDC power and the normally open output provides a discrete PNP/NPN output. The sensor is an M18 thread barrel sensor of ULTEM™ plastic with an M12 4-pin male micro connector. The enclosure is made of ULTEM with silicone rubber front. Its dimensions are 73.91mm x (length) x 18mm (width) x 18mm x (height). It weighs 0.033kg. The sensor is compliant with CE and UL standards and NEMA 4X (indoor use only) and IP67 rated. It is suitable for packaging, automotive, food and beverage processing applications. This product is certified by CE and UL.
