Hyde Park, Ultrasonic sensor, analog, current (mA), 30 mm barrel, 15 24 V DC

This SM906 Series SUPERPROX® Ultrasonic Analog Output Sensor is part of the Hyde Park Ultrasonic Sensors product range. The SM956 26.2ft (8m) sensing model’s 20 degree beam allows sensing the tank or bin levels of liquids, solids, and granules. Applications include blending ingredients, processing food products and pharmaceuticals, and water and sewage treatment. The sensor is a self contained, pulse-echo device that both transmits and receives sonic energy within an operating range of 8in (0.2m) to 26.2ft (8m) with a configurable sensing window. The response time is 1s. The sensor accepts 15VDC to 24VDC power and has a direct proportional analog current output from 4mA to 20mA, increasing as the object or level approaches the near limit. It has LEDs to show analog output magnitude and object positioning. The sensor is an M30 thread barrel sensor of ULTEM™ plastic with an M12 4-pin male connector. The sensor is compliant with CE and UL standards and NEMA 4X (indoor use only) and IP67 rated. This product is certified by CE and UL. The Hyde Park ultrasonic sensors operate in diffuse, reflex and thru beam modes. This range of sensors even includes long distance detection models.
