Type S non-reversing fusible combination starters are for motor control applications. Combination starters combine the requirements for motor overload and short circuit protection into one package. NEMA Size 5 starters have ratings of 200 HP at 460 and 575 VAC poly phase. Combination starter has a 400 Amp Class H fuse clip. This 3 pole starter is for poly phase applications. Combination starters are available with a wide variety of replaceable coil voltages. Starter has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz operating coil wired for separate control. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. A painted sheet steel NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure is used to protect this combination starter. Enclosure is 78.0 inches tall, 20.0 inches wide and 15.5 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. Type S combination starters are UL listed and CSA certified.
