This analog encoder interface module can be used for Flux Vector Control operation with sensor for asynchronous motors. It can also be used for Vector Control operation with speed feedback for synchronous motors. It improves drive performance irrespective of the motor load state. This module is inserted in a dedicated slot of the variable speed drive. It is protected against encoder supply short circuits and overloads. It is compatible with Altivar Process ATV900 and Modular, and Altivar Machine ATV340. It has 1 female high density SUB-D 15 connector.
