This RS485 shielded cable is used to connect 2 safe communication expansion modules. It is designed to link two safe communication modules, in order to create decentralized cabinets of remote IO. This cable figures 2 pairs of twisted conductors with shielding with flying lead connection. RS485 serial interface shielded cables are used between the Bus expansion communication modules to create up to six decentralized safety-related islands with a maximum of 50 meters between each island. It weighs 4.6kg. It measures 50m. It is ideal for monitoring safety functions such as emergency stop, guard monitoring, perimeter guarding, position monitoring, speed monitoring and enabling movement.
