The more copper for current carrying paths, the lower the temperature rise. Managing temperatures inside the switch is the key to providing greater service life. This heavy duty Single Throw Safety Switch has a rated current of 30A and has a NEMA 4/4X/5 degree of protection. This fusible disconnect has a short circuit rating of 200kA@240VAC. This safety switch has a stainless steel 304 enclosure and is surface mounted. This product is compatible with H or K, R, J or L fuses. The acceptable AWG gauge for this product is AWG 12 / AWG 6, aluminum and has a tightening torque of 45-45 lbf in.
