Type S non-reversing magnetic starters are for motor control applications. NEMA Size 0 starters have ratings of 1 HP at 115 and 2 HP at 230 single phase and has a maximum rating of 18 Amps. This 2 pole starter is for single phase applications. These starters are available with a wide variety of replaceable coil voltages. Starter has a 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz operating coil. The melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. A painted sheet steel NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure is used to protect this starter. Enclosure is 10.00 inches tall, 6.00 inches wide and 5.56 inches deep. A wide variety of accessories are available for Type S starters. This starter has 2 normally open and two normally closed auxiliary contacts. Type S starters are UL listed and CSA certified for global applications.
