This product is part of the XUSL range, an offer of safety light curtains. This safety light curtain for body protection. It has 2 beams with spacing of 500mm and height protection of 510mm. It supports 2 safety outputs OSSD (0.4A) solid-state PNP (arc suppression) with a sensing distance of 0m to 10m or 3m to 20m. The emission technology is IR LED with 950nm wavelength and an effective aperture angle of 25° at 3m. It is an IP65 and IP67 rated product. It is a safety light curtain with a rated supply voltage of 24V DC and a rated operational current of 2A. It is furnished with 5-pin M12 male connector for transmitter and 8-pin M12 male connector for receiver. The casing is made of aluminium (red) with polycarbonate front panel and polypropylene end caps. Its dimensions are 29.4mm (Width) x 31mm (Depth) x 653mm (Height) and weighs 1.1kg. It is ideal for all the dangerous machines with free access requiring a zone protection for the security of operators and machines. This product is certified by TUV, CULus and CE. The set includes receiver, transmitter, adjustable mounting bracket and user guide with certificate of conformity on CD-ROM. The transmitter and receiver must be installed with the optical surfaces face to face, connectors oriented in the same way. Perfect alignment of the transmitter and the receiver corresponding beams is mandatory for an optimum functioning. It is an optical protection system with infrared beams that provides protection for operators in the vicinity of hazardous zones. Any moving parts in this zone are stopped if at least one of the light beams is broken. The safety light curtain can only be used on machines on which the movement of working components can be stopped at any time during a hazardous phase. This light curtain provides a stop signal, not a control instruction.
